Skin Cancer
 Skin Cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed today. There are three main forms of skin cancer: basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and malignant melanoma. All three types are related to the sun, and the disease can run in families.
Here at Baxt Cosmedical, located in New Jersey, we offer our patients a full skin cancer screening on a yearly basis, or more often for those at high risk . We see many, many patients with skin cancers. The most important aspect of skin cancer treatment is prevention and early detection since most cancers are completely curable if caught early and treated. Prevention requires sun avoidance, sunscreen or sunblocks on a routine basis. We have a wonderful selection of the best sunscreens and sunblocks available at our office for every skin type. Early detection requires good self examination of the skin as well as yearly examinations by a dermatologist. We look forward to helping you keep your skin healthy and beautiful.
