Scarless Breast Reduction

I had my scarless breast reduction on 8/5/10. I learned that this alternative to the traditional breast reduction surgery existed at the beginning of this year. I wish I had known about it sooner.

I can’t thank Dr Sherwood Baxt enough for changing my life. From the moment I met him, I felt that he was genuinely sympathetic to the pain and discomfort I was living with. He really wanted to help me and make it all better. He did.

The neck, back and shoulder pain I was living with was unbearable. In addition to being large breasted, I had a very dramatic dissymmetry. My right breast was much larger than my left causing me to lean and walk off balance, sometimes even falling. I had extremely deep ruts in my shoulders that were always very inflamed.

I was a 40 triple D or G. I am 5’2” inches tall. Finding bras was always a challenge. The selection was limited and after trying on all the ones they had, I would have to settle for the lesser of the evils.

The actual procedure was so much less risky than traditional surgery. The recovery much faster. I never actually needed to take any pain killers. I rested the 1st & 2nd day. I went back to work in 6 days. I was driving within a few days.There was some discomfort but mostly in my right breast which clearly needed more work. There was some bruising which faded fairly quickly. There are no scars because there was no cutting.

It has only been 8 weeks since my procedure so the final transformation is still a work in progress. I felt relief immediately. My clothes fit better. I feel lighter and much more in proportion. I even feel like my car is more roomy.

I want to thank the entire staff that was involved in my care. They were so professional, kind, patient, comforting, reassuring and sensitive to my needs.

If anyone is considering this surgery, go for it. You will be so happy you did.

Liposuction Breast Reduction

2 years ago on July 8th, Dr Baxt performed my surgery -Liposuction Breast Reduction. I was a DD. People always made statements that made me feel very uncomfortable. Everyday I thank Dr Baxt for my new breasts. I wear a C Bra and I can look in the mirror and not be ashamed. This was the best thing I have ever done for myself. I can run, play games, ride horses, and just feel better about myself. I cannot thank him enough.

My experience with you went very well. Before I visited Dr. Baxt I was very nervous to hear what he had to say because I was very self-conscious about my upper body. When he suggested the surgery and confidently said, “this is a quick and easy procedure that I have done many times” I was very excited. After the surgery I felt no pain and very quick results. When I saw the significant change in my upper body, it gave the mentality to work out more and try to improve my entire body. 12/1/09 - OMG! I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER WITH MY NEW BREASTS! WOW! Dr. Baxt used the latest BodyJet for my Scarless Breast Reduction and the results are absolutely incredible. I was an extremely unhappy DD for a long time. Now I can cup my hands under my breasts. My nipples face forward. I am no longer much more than a handful! I feel so much better about myself. It’s been just over 2 months. Every morning I am thrilled when I wake up to look at my new breasts. I start every day off with a smile. Easily THE best choice I have made in my life (next to marrying my husband, that is.) Could not be happier.

Dear Dr. Baxt,

Today will be the 8th treatment on my face/neck with the Lipotron 3000. I notice a tightening of my skin and I am told with time I will see more of a difference. I am pleased with the results so far and would recommend this to anyone who could use more definition to the neck, jawline and face. The Lipotron 3000 feels like a warm stone massage. It is a radio-frequency heat activated principal designed to stimulate collagen growth and tighten skin. This procedure should be done first before any Botox or other fillers are used.

A year ago I participated in your Accent Study having 7 treatments to my right arm and at the time not seeing enough of a difference to warrant the expense of the treatment to my left arm. My sister and I have had 10 Lipotron 3000 (radio-frequency) treatments to our faces.

Dr Sherwood Baxt offers free consultations. His office staff and professional staff are prompt and courteous. It is always a pleasure to go to his Paramus office. The Lipotron 3000 was administered for 45 minutes once a week for ten weeks on our face and neck area. These areas were massaged gently with heat and it was quite relaxing, pleasant and soothing. At 50 years of age and being thin there was not a lot of wrinkling or fat. Our results were subtle but certainly improved, especially under the chin area. We were both very happy with the results of our procedure.

I am going to be 58 next month and have a history of being a sun worshipper in the “good old days”….. so now I am paying the price with lots of sun damage and sagging loose skin especially on my face.

I’ve had injections of both Botox and Restylane over the past few years, but no one has ever noticed…. or at least not said anything to me.

Recently I tried the new radio frequency - which is like a heated massage of the face and neck….. very relaxing - done in a spa like setting.

After my first treatment my son’s girlfriend said I looked good…. it was early one Saturday morning in my kitchen in my bathrobe and no makeup…I said I do ?????

After my 4th treatment a man in church said “ You look so good – I said really? He said “It must be your haircut” – but hadn’t had one.

After my 6th treatment my girlfriend said “You look so good.. new haircut?”… NO…. “new hair color?”….. NO

People definitely notice a difference…. They just don’t know what it is.

I am thrilled with the results I have gotten from my series of abdominal radio frequency treatments. I previously had a thick mid section and a significant amount of loose skin. When I sat down I felt my stomach bulging out of the top of my pants. This feeling was extremely uncomfortable for me. Currently, the skin on my abdomen is much tighter and I am able to fit into pants I have not been able to button in years. Dresses that used to be snug now feel loose and seem to fit the way they are supposed to. The treatments are very relaxing and done in a spa like setting. I would very highly recommend this procedure for anyone interested in volume reduction and/or skin tightening. Since this treatment I am feeling much better about my body.

The transformation of my neck profile is a miraculous work of art! I never imagined that my results could be this great.

Five years ago, I underwent gastic-bypass surgery and I lost 125 lbs.

My skin in the neck area was loose and drooping with a large fold of skin in the middle. I was very self-conscious of this and hated my photos.

i just finished my last session (abdomen area) at BAXT CosMedical with their new radio frequency machine. I am absolutely astonished how great this works. I know there is new technology coming out all the time but this is the mother of all. After the first treatment my abdomen became softer. With each additional session not only did my abdomen get softer and softer, but the size and shrinkage was very evident. I now fit back in to my smaller size and apparently it will continue to work for some time. This is really a fabulous breakthrough and I am so ecstatic that I did it.

The treatment takes one hour. With the low lightening, soft music and the feeling of a gentle massage, I was able to relax enough to zone out for the entire treatment. WOW! What a great experience and benefit, I highly recommend it. Only one problem…. can’t wait to have other areas done!

I had a scarless breast reduction with you in January of 2008 - I am the person who had had a breast reduction many years before and had a recurrence of the size (even though I was petite) - was an unusual circumstance. In November I was fortunate enough to be accepted as a candidate in the SmartLipo MPX study. I had fat under my chin (notice I say “had”), along with thin hanging skin (which I felt resembled a turkey). After undergoing the procedure, only one month ago, the result is UNBELIEVABLE!!! Dear Dr. Baxt,

After surgery, the appearance of my breasts initially were a little wrinkly, which I anticipated as you removed 1400cc’s from my right breast and 1250cc’’s from my left breast. The skin has now shrunken back quite a bit and my breasts look the way they did prior to my pregnancy, 17 years ago. Needless to say, my husband as well as myself are thrilled with my results. About two weeks or so after surgery I was able to buy new bras “off the rack” at a local department store. I just went online and bought a new bathing suit from Victoria’s Secret because…I can! They have my size!

I want to thank you for changing my life in the most profound way as I now have a brand new outlook on being 50. Thanks to you, my bra size is reduced 3 cups from 36DDD Minimizer/36G to a 36DD. My shoulder and lower back pain have almost completely subsided. And I have been able to resume a life of athletic activity I thought lost to me for some 17 years since the birth of my daughter. I’m able to ride my horses without any discomfort, albeit with a very good sports bra. I’m resuming my love of running and swimming, and I’m able to work-out with weights and do yoga without this tremendous weight hanging off my chest.

I am now 6 weeks post Scarless Breast Reduction and I couldn’t be happier! You changed my life and my appearance. There is no way to explain the difference of living day to day without all the excess weight of the breasts. The size and weight interfered physically with many daily activities. The times spent on the floor trying to alleviate pain are too numerous to count. All of that physical pain and discomfort was gone within days of the breast reduction. I went from a 36DD to 36C in 6 weeks - with minimal discomfort and recovery time. It’s hard to believe that 10 days after surgery, I began training for my second marathon. This time, I am doing it without all the excess breast weight - YES! Just think what my chip time will be this time around. Yes, I began training slowly and I always wear my sports bra. At age 55 - I don’t truly care about my chip time, but can’t wait to experience the marathon with my new shape.

I can’t wait to go clothes shopping. It is simply amazing to see how different I look in my existing wardrobe. Love it!

TUBA Breast Augmentation

I only have slight tenderness in my stomach. The color looks good, normal. I am still massaging them minimum twice a day with lotion. People who have seen me before and know me, can not believe how natural my implants look, and so soon after I had this done. Featherlift

Recently, I underwent a Featherlift procedure done by Dr. Sherwood Baxt. I went to him in confidence since I had previously been to him to have my eyes done and was very pleased with the results.

In addition, on my recommendation, my sister had her eyes done and my mother had a full face lift with a chemical peel. My mother was shopping in Paramus a week after her surgery and went home to Ohio completely healed and presentable within two weeks. None of her friends or associates had a clue she’d had work done! My sister was also pleased with her smaller procedure.

My Featherlift was another very happy experience. I had my appointment postponed once by the good doctor when I confessed I had taken some aspirin within the two week period prior to the procedure and Dr. Baxt sent me home with a stern admonition. I think that really speaks to his character, since it was his lost time that was the consequence of my action.

I returned for my procedure in a few weeks and although the recovery period for this work is a bit longer than my previous experience, the results were really wonderful. I feel as though I look many years younger and more rested, and I am thrilled with the results. Thanks again, Dr. Baxt!

After hearing the news about “Scarless Breast Reduction” on ABC’s Good Morning America, I immediately made a number of inquiries to plastic surgeons in the Chicago area, only to learn that many of them had little or no experience in performing the procedure. That is why I decided to travel to Paramus, New Jersey, to have Dr. Sherwood Baxt at Baxt Cosmedical perform the surgery. Prior to the surgery, Dr. Baxt and the patient coordinator, were always available to answer my many questions and to alleviate my concerns as well.

I cannot say enough about the excellent treatment and attention I was given at the Center when I got there. I flew from Chicago to New Jersey on a Thursday morning and had the surgery performed the same afternoon. The surgery team was friendly and efficient. There was absolutely no pain after the surgery, and I had to actually force myself to get some rest-that is how good I felt post-procedure! I stayed overnight at a local hotel and traveled back to Chicago the next day-again without experiencing any pain or discomfort. The following day I was driving and running errands and went back to my full, hectic work schedule that Monday.

It has been a little over a week now, and the bruising is practically gone. While there still remains some swelling and hardness in the breast area (which will require daily massages), I am already witnessing some exciting results. If you are from out of town and are contemplating getting this procedure performed, it is well worth the cost and expense to travel to Baxt Cosmedical, where the surgeons are knowledgeable, experienced and professional. So go ahead and book your flight. I hope you will agree that it will be well worth the trip!

I am 23 years old and just had this surgery done a couple; of weeks ago and I am doing great! My breasts are still swollen but I can already tell a difference! I can already fit into a size c cup bathing suit and bra, and coming from a double d, that feels awesome!! I have to admit I was a little nervous at first about the pain and heeling process. However much to my surprise and excitement there was no bad pain at all, just discomfort! I already feel like a new woman and I don’t even have the true shape that my breast will be yet! I flew in from Dallas, Texas the night before my surgery and I went back home the same day as I got my surgery! It was the best decision I have ever made!

I just arrived home in Richmond Virginia (Wednesday evening) after an overnight stop in Philadelphia.

I want to tell you how impressed both Alice and I were with your expertise, your office, and most especially your staff.

The patient coordinator, Susan and the other RN’s (I need to get their names as I was a bit groggy) treated me kindly and compassionately - as if I were their sister. Their caring towards me - a complete stranger - was extraordinary, and I am so very grateful.

Dr. Baxt, thank you . . . thank you . . . thank you! You seem to have accomplished what I have wanted for as long as I can remember. The size of my breasts have always caused problems with my back, as well as problems finding clothes that fit comfortably. Hopefully, that is all in the past.

I hope to see you in May for my post surgical visit, and perhaps at that time we can discuss options for my face. I am approaching my 60th birthday in September. I am ecstatic with the results of my Scarless breast reduction. For years, I agonized over whether to have breast reduction surgery due to the extreme nature of the operation. Even though I am miserable with my size, I could never convince myself to go forward with the “traditional” methods that were available.

Then I saw your website and the before & after pictures of woman who was the same age as I and who had the same problem. Her results prompted me to call you and make an appointment.

From the minute I got to your office and you explained the procedure, I was sold! This is what I had been looking for all along and I’m so glad I waited to find you.

My surgery was done on a Wednesday. I rested the remainder of the day and by Thursday (!) I was up and about doing some computer work from home. Friday I threw out all my old bras!

The amazing part is that there was such little discomfort and almost no down time at all. I never once had to take the prescribed pain medication. I was back to work full time the following Monday. The bruising was gone within two weeks. I resumed exercise 10 days after the surgery and now 6 weeks later, I am a new woman!!!!

I am so happy. I can’t tell you what a difference this has made for me. My constant neck and shoulder pain is fast becoming a distant memory. I can wear normal size shirts and bathing suits. I’m not spilling out of my bras anymore and feeling embarrassed when I want to wear a tank top.

Even more amazing is that my skin responded so well to the decrease that I got a great natural lift. I think my before and after pictures will speak for themselves.

Dear Dr. and Staff,

Thank you, thank you and thank you! Having the scarless breast reduction on April 24, 2002 has changed my life for the better. I should have written to you much sooner, but I have been so busy enjoying the new me.

I was so impressed with your facilities and staff that after my consultation I knew this was the practice that would live up to my expectations. I have visited at least 5 doctors before this and not even one had mentioned this new technique. I even felt that walking into some offices were like going back in time 20 or 30 years. Your doctors and staff are top notch in my book.

For almost 10 years I have been thinking about getting this surgery. The thought of so many scars and such a long recovery period with the old technique really turned me off. I am a very active person that has completed four marathons and I could not see myself being able to not run for at least six months. My mother-in-law saw Dr. Baxt on ABC Good Morning America and immediately told me about this new technique. I called right away and your staff was very accommodating and I got an appointment right away, even though your office was getting bombarded with so many phone calls. There were many women in America that we so overjoyed to hear about this new technique. When I met the doctor he told me that I would be a great candidate and could even start running as soon as two weeks after the surgery, as long as I took it slowly. The doctor was true to his word. It felt great to wear just a running bra and shorts and not have people gawk at me, not to mention what a relief it was to my body. I am now training for my next marathon this November in New York City and I know that I will do better than ever thanks to the great staff at Baxt Cosmedical.

Again, your staff was fantastic. I only traveled 2 hours to your office, but your staff’s suggestion of staying at an area hotel for the night was a good idea. We stayed at Howard Johnson’s, one of your recommended hotels, and found it to be very nice and well priced. The location is also very convenient since it was close to restaurants and the drug store. Once I got over the anesthesia, I felt very good. The pain was not bad at all. In fact, I have hurt much worse after some of my marathons. I did not use the prescribed medication but just used Tylenol. I had the surgery on a Wednesday, and returned to work on Monday. At the time I worked in retail and was still able to carry on with my normal routine.

The doctor and staff, if any of your patients have any sort of questions I give you permission to send them my way. Perhaps I can help ease any anxieties that they may have as well as give some tips through the recovery phase that I learned on my own. Again, this has changed my life for the better. I have so much self-confidence and am ready to conquer the world.

Scarless Breast Reduction

Dear Dr. Baxt,

We sent you the 3-week post-op pictures last week, and I hope you received them. I wanted to write to let you know how pleased we were with the entire experience we had with your clinic. I am writing this especially for those patients who are traveling to you from other states for treatment.

My daughter had asymmetrical breasts. One was at least a cup size larger than the other. We live in a large metropolitan area, and when I started to call plastic surgeons here, the only solution I was offered was the traditional (what I now consider radical) surgery. One doctor told us the procedure she proposed was second in complexity only to breast reconstruction after cancer surgery.

Another doctor proposed an entire gamut of procedures including lifting both breasts, reducing one, and putting implants in both so they would be even. The implants, by the way, would have to be replaced a couple of times during her lifetime. Minimum cost was $8,000. Needless to say, these visits and phone calls left us more than disheartened.

When my daughter discovered scarless breast reduction from searching the internet, and then learning about your clinic, I was skeptical. Why would this procedure not be available in our metropolitan area if it was so wonderful, I asked myself. It was less intrusive, with a quicker recovery, and less expensive!

Well, I still don’t have an answer for why it is unavailable here, but I do want everyone who is considering it to know that we are delighted we took the “leap of faith” and came to New Jersey and to you.

You or the doctor answered my numerous e-mails promptly and empathetically. I so appreciated your arrangements for travel from the airport and help in finding hotels. Even after we got back home, you called and checked up on us. It was comforting to know that you were still looking after her.

Our experience with CosMedical was just great! My daughter is now a freshman in college and feeling so much more confident and comfortable with her appearance. She is not spending months recuperating, nor does she have to bear a lifetime of scars.

Face Lift

Dear Dr. Baxt,

It’s been over a year since you did my facial surgery and I am remiss in writing to tell you how much I appreciated the wonderful job you did. The nurses who worked with me were exceptional; honest, kind, considerate, well-informed and, most important, so very very nice. My face was healed enough to allow me to go shopping in a department store in a week’s time. I was not embarrassed about having the surgery, and I told most of my co-workers and family about it before the fact. If I had known how quickly and completely my face would heal, I might not have done so!

However, my recovery period was a revelation to my mother, who, at 73 and still working as a nurse, would never have considered facial surgery because she didn’t want to admit to having it done. She has always been in wonderful shape and taken good care of herself, but she was feeling old only because of what she saw in the mirror. On a checkup visit I made to your office, she accompanied me and you saw her for a consultation on a moments notice, since she lives in Ohio and was leaving that day.

After deliberating for months, she returned this past April to have her own face lift, and I was thrilled, but concerned, because she would have been devastated if she showed any sign of the surgery when she returned to work in 3 weeks.

9 days after her surgery she went out shopping. When she returned home to Ohio, nobody noticed a thing. She was ecstatic, and her whole self image has improved immensely. She no longer feels like ‘an old lady’ and she thinks people treat her more nicely since the surgery.

And so I thank you for my mother and myself. I continue to visit your office on a regular basis for treatment and have had the best possible care administered by Dr. Saida and Dr. Rebecca. Lorraine has administered photofacials in the most professional and personal manner. She is terrific.

I am a professional woman who owns a construction company and I interviewed several plastic surgeons before I found Baxt Cosmedical. The doctors seemed fine and qualified, but what left them in the dust was the staff I encountered in their offices. I never even saw one of the doctors because I was left waiting for over an hour at my first consultation with absolutely no apology, offer of water or coffee, or any acknowledgement that my time was of the least importance, while the nurses chatted amongst themselves in full view of the waiting area!

Blepharoplasty (Eyelid Surgery)

Dear Dr. Baxt,

I would like to take this opportunity to Thank You ever so much for giving me back some of my youthful appearance. My friends say that I look 30 instead of 50!! How great is that!! And best of all, I still look like me.

I have seen with so many other people, after eyelid surgery, like mine, their eyes take on a totally different shape, obviously, they didn’t use you!

You took years off my jaw line with your simple lipo procedure. I’m amazed. The healing was quick and painless.

Chin Liposuction & Mini-Abdominoplasty

Dr. Baxt did my chin liposuction two years ago, and a mini-abdominoplasty this year. I went into both knowing that there are no promises of perfection in plastic surgery, and that I wasn’t an easy case, but I’m thrilled to say that the results of both of my procedures are phenomenal.
