Acne and Acne Scarring Treatments with Lasers
Serving the Bergen County and Tri-State Area
Depending on your acne condition, advanced laser and light source treatments may be recommended by Board Certified Dermatologists at BAXT CosMedical®. Dr. Rebecca Baxt and Dr. Saida Baxt, are specifically trained in treating medical skin problems, especially acne and acne scars and helping teenagers and adults achieve healthy skin. They are also expert in facial cosmetic skin rejuvenation procedures using clinically proven laser therapies.
At BAXT CosMedical® we own all our lasers so they are available all day, every day. We advise patients to be cautious of practices and medical spas that rent equipment monthly and only perform lasers on certain days.
Medical lasers are powerful devices that can cause serious skin damage in the hands of some non-medical practitioners. To get impressive results and avoid serious side effects, it’s important to check the credentials of doctors from other specialties (non-dermatologist), who have limited experience and are not experienced laser specialists that have a thorough understanding of laser technology and your skin.
You want an experienced Board Certified Dermatologist, not a nurse, not a physician assistant (PA), not a doctor who took weekend courses performing your laser treatments. Lasers are powerful devices and must be done properly to avoid rare complications. In the state of New Jersey lasers must be performed by a physician. Beware of spas with staff that has limited training. On a weekly basis Dr. Rebecca Baxt and Dr. Saida Baxt treat complications from laser patients treated elsewhere. Select the right doctor the first time!
All laser treatments are performed by our Board Certified Dermatologists at BAXT CosMedical®.
