How Does the ellacor+ System with Micro-Coring™ Technology Work to Tighten Loose Facial Skin?
Ellacor + System with Micro-Coring™ utilizes hollow needles to penetrate the epidermis and dermis in order to extract thousands of columns or micro-cores of skin, thereby reducing the overall density of the skin. “Because the diameter of the needles is less than 0.5 mm, the extracted cores are on the micro-scale, thereby mitigating the possibility of scarring.”1
After the micro-cores of the skin is removed, the body’s natural healing response goes into effect as the skin quickly realigns to close the cores. What are the Results?

The ellacor® clinical studies resulted in in FDA clearance of the treatment of moderate and severe wrinkles in the mid and lower face of adults ages 22 and older.
Individual results will vary based on a number of factors, but most patients can see results in 2-3 sessions with optimal results showing in a few months after your final ellacor® treatment.2 Side effects are temporary and can include swelling, bruising, and tenderness.
